Sound familiar?
You are good at this. That is what makes it confusing.
Monday
You built a Q4 roadmap for seven people. Priorities, sequencing, what gets protected. Two hours of good work.
You have never once done that for your own week.
Tuesday, 6:15
You walk in. Your son says dad, watch this. You look up. You watch. You say good job, buddy.
Then you pick up your phone.
Sunday, around seven
The week ahead starts landing on you before it starts. You tell yourself things will settle down after this stretch.
You have been saying that a while now.
Here is the good news. It is a smaller fix than it feels like.
Somebody taught you how to run a quarter. Somebody taught you how to lead a team, work a budget, hit a number. Every one of those came with a framework and a person who showed you how to use it.
Nobody ever handed you one for the part of your life that actually matters most.
The effort is already there. So is the caring. What is missing is a system, and that is the easiest of the three to get.
You can see the whole thing in about an hour.
What you will walk away understanding
Three pieces. One hour. By the end you will see the whole thing at once.
The Five Steps
Plan, Learn, Act, Track, Execute. The sequence a week actually runs on — and the two steps that separate a plan you follow from one you abandon by Wednesday.
The Three Days
Personal, Professional, Passion. Every day holds three fresh starts — which is how a hard afternoon still ends in a good evening.
The Twelve-Week Cycle
The quarterly rhythm you already trust at work, pointed at the life you actually said you wanted. Same discipline. Different scoreboard.
How the hour runs
First 15 minutes. The story — how a man does everything right and still ends up a guest in his own house, and the morning that turned it around.
Next 35 minutes. The system on screen. Five steps, three days, twelve weeks. All of it, in order, so you can see how the pieces hold each other up.
Last 10 minutes. Your questions answered live — plus the Saturday morning group opening October 3rd, for the men who want a hand on the wheel while they install it.
What actually happens on a Saturday morning
Sixty minutes. Three jobs, in this order, every week.
One — Close last week honestly
Not a performance review. A look at what actually happened against what you said would happen, and what that gap is telling you. Most men have never done this once, which is why the same week keeps repeating.
Two — Pick the one thing that matters most
Out of everything competing for the next seven days, one thing carries the most meaning and gives you the most time back. That is the Main Dish. Everything else gets arranged around it.
Three — Build the week in that order
Meaningful first. Then the work that builds momentum. Maintenance last, in whatever space remains — because what goes on the calendar first is what survives, and what goes on last is what gets squeezed.
You leave with the week decided instead of pending.
That is the shape of it. Which questions surface the Main Dish, and how Personal, Professional, and Passion actually become commitments on a calendar — that is what we walk through together on the training.
What changes when the week gets built
“Now that I’m getting my work done mostly in my work hours, I feel like I can save family time. Before, I was doing everything all the time, all at once.”
Sam Wilson
“They make sure I do the things I said I was gonna do. My kids remember — ‘You said we were gonna have family movie night?’ They need to know I mean what I say, so they can trust me.”
Trevor Ortman
Why I built this
Every productivity program taught me the same thing.
How to get more done. Maximize the day, squeeze the hours, batch the tasks.
All of it worked at the office. None of it worked at home.
At work I had authority. When I needed something from an adult, there was a paycheck standing behind the request. At home none of that exists — and my kids never once had a hard night at a convenient time.
I would come home with a plan and a nine-year-old would fall apart at 7:40. Or my wife would need my full attention after the longest day I had had in a month. The plan did not survive any of it.
Meanwhile the sentences kept landing. You’re never home. Your kids miss you. You’re always tired.
Home was never a productivity problem. Nobody there is grading what I accomplished. They are registering how it felt when I was in the room.
So I stopped trying to get more done at home and built something that could absorb the ebb and the flow — a way of deciding what mattered before the week started, so that when a night went sideways, I was still there for it.
That is what this is. It is the process I built for my own house, and then handed to other men.
