Becoming a chef is more than just getting the fancy chef coat with the title and having your name on the bottom of the menus. A truly great chef becomes the pivotal leader of the restaurant. They inspire their team both front of house and back of house. They are a beacon for the rest of the staff to be guided. How does a chef become the leader of the kitchen? What are some of the qualities and traits that you will need to develop in order to be a great leader? What kind of culture do you need to develop and grow?
